Kaiser Permanente

There once was a time when the main thing Kaiser stood for was Aluminum: Cold. Hard. Not exactly warm, caring, or nurturing, which is how they wanted to portray their venture into health care. Further, while the Kaiser Permanente name was used in markets across the country, the logos changed from state to state. This was a company that wanted their 11 diverse regions to be intimately involved in the process. Our team conducted research and developed strategy, working closely with the regions through each stage of design. When the final logo was selected, Boyd went on to develop identity manuals tailored to each region.
