Bell Helmets

Bell Helmets, then a 30-year-old private company with tremendous equity in their oval-shaped logo, asked Boyd for a change. Our update simplified the design, making the helmet labels easier to read and align properly, cutting waste. We also developed graphics for packaging, typography, and guidelines for applying the new logo to bicycle helmets, which at the time were only beginning to enter the market. This new look aided the company in going public and started them on a new ride.
